When you sign up for an account the system will email you for a confirmation link.  Please check your spam box as many automated emails end up there.  Almost every month I go through the account sign ups.  For the past 45 days there were 856 fraudulent spam signup attemps.  I found 2 legitimate signups that never confirmed, likely due to the email ending up in the spam box.  Because of this, sometimes legitimate signups get missed, so check your spam box if you dont get a confirmation email
