Just remember that whether its GLSI, the HCC, or SI - everone is trying to do thier best with dates. All of these people are dedicating thier efforts for the anglers.   Its a challenge to make everything work perfect or even remotely good for that matter.  Everyone wants to complain to the folks putting in the efforts - lets do the converse....

Thanks Jeff,
February is the month most look to for bringing folks together. (By March were fishing)
#1 it's been a long winter
#2 most are itching to get out and do something as the weather lets up
#3 February also is the month for Super Bowl, that weekend is a bust
#4 For myself, I start to set things in motion back in November
#5 it is not easy feeling like your working with a cross word puzzle to get a line up that works with everyone
#6 There is a lot to organize

Where is the Salmon Unlimited swap at and times? I'd like to hit both if possible.

Well I wasnt really complaining.....more along the lines of just saying it's a bummer. I appreciate all the work that goes into staging these things and i enjoy all of them.  Especially each of these.....I've been to both in the past and just wish i could attend both,  just bad luck that both Salmon swap meets are always on the same day every year that's all I was saying.

Hey Ltrain - sorry if I came off as directed at you personally - that certainly wasnt the case and I appologize for that as I can see what it would come off as a direct comment to you.  It was a general comment as there is always scores of folks that arent happy about various things and ultimately frustrations get directed at the people trying to do positive things for the angling community because they listen and have an ear to bend.  It would be helpful to have more meaningful conversations and meetings so we can all work together more.

I encourage everyone to try and get to one, if not all three events that day.  They will all be valuable for varying reasons.  Unfortunately I will be out of town and will have to miss all of them.  My personal and fishing calendar are not off to a good start in 2025.
