Just wanted to say hello! I met 2 members of this site at the portage launch about week or so ago and finally got around to signing up. Thanks Will and Bruce I found it!
I am a long time creek fisherman that is constantly seeking the elusive silver bullet.
I currently traded in my bass boat in for a 2016 Tyee Magnum. One hell of a boat! Too bad the captain is getting his butt handed to him on the big pond. Its a whole different world out their
Anyways I just wanted to introduce myself, I will be leaning on you folks for a while, and hopefully in the near future I can contribute, for now I have a whole bunch to learn! Tight lines Gents!

Welcome Steelhead. I fish out of Portage 90% of the time I go out, we will probably run into each other at the ramp. The guys here are a great bunch and will help out with anything you have questions about.

Welcome Steelhead. Like Tim said. Lots of water out there. What I like most about this site is the sharing of where the fish are. Hopefully when you get your sea legs you will share also.

68 seems to be the channel most used. Channel 5 is used also, but mainly by Mich City charters. I like to use the auto search feature on my radio.

Welcome aboard. I am in my second year of fishing the big lake and Salmon. I got a lot of info and help from a few friends but also a ton on here. For being only my second season I think I am doing great and only have been skunked a few times in the two seasons. I am also always on 68 and seems most are. I also will often give a call out for southenders when I first get on the water to see if anyone else from the group is out there. I haven't gotten an answer yet so I am starting to get a complex :) (jk).
