Anyone that knows me I am pretty anal on checking over my boats mechanicals after almost ever trip. Well I found a few issues on something I have never checked before tonight. I have lost a couple bolts and lock nuts that hold the long runner bunks to the trailer. Be sure to check yours before you lose a bunk at the ramp or worse it falls off as you are pulling your boat out and you punch holes in your haul. Off to the hardware store tomorrow to buy some stainless hardware.

Add the lock washers and maybe lock tight as well.

That could have been bad.

alway torque wheel bolts with torque wrench at least one or twice a year every year we get a couple customer that have wheel come off their trailers on the high way this can easily be avoided
