I would love some advice. I need to fix my leaking front windows. I plan to remove the glass, thoroughly clean off the old sealant, and reseal the windows. The windows just sit in the frame. There is nothing holding the glass in other than the sealant. What would you recommend to use for the sealant? Thank you in advance for any info.
Mathew 4:19
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
I had an issue once on my boat and contacted a business that built custom shower compartments and did other window and glass work. They were able to make it right as new.
Right after college I worked a few months at a place that did commercial glass work - like the doors at Supermarkets and windows at hotels. (We put all the glass at a new Holiday Inn.) All aluminum framed stuff. There was a bunch of different rubber "gasket" materials we used to make the windows water tight. Very seldom did we use putty or any sort of silicone. They probably have something which will be perfect.
