Limit catch (30). Lines in 7-11 am, blue water tower and east for .5 mile, caught fish from 26-55'. Yes, 55.
Started where friend finished limit the previous night - Caught 7 or 8 keepers immediately from 26-29', tried to get right back on them, but only two on next drift, then zero on following try.
Progressively kept drifting deeper and kept marking lots of bait and occasional bunch of perch. Caught a few more perch, albeit not fast, each time we drifted farther offshore.i Ended up out in 55 'on last couple drifts, where we finished up limit.
So...perch were unusually scattered, but biting well enough to scrape up 30.
Size-wise, probably 20 were 7-8". rest 9-10 plus 1 jumbo at 13".
