Made it out this morning. Only 3 or 4 other boats out. Based on dogsbestfriend report yesterday I went east of the lighthouse and found 35 fow. Lines in and drift bag deployed. Started getting bit in 30 fow all the way in to 15 fow. All fish were in the 8 inch area. It was beautiful watching the front come through. It never rained but the wind did shift and pick up quite a bit. My little boat started bouncing and banging but I kept at it for awhile. Eventually conceding to Mother Nature after getting lines tangled in a mess and resorting to a back up rod. Then a wave hit the boat at the same instant I'm trying to thread a hook through the minnow resulting in a hook stuck in my thumb. I love days like this!!! I looked around and realized that I was the only boat still out. Pulled the gear and headed for the house. I had maybe 8 or so fish but they were all small so put 'em back in healthy. Constantly marking fish on the bottom, and bait fish scattered above. Hope this helps guys.
