Heard good perch reports from this morning, so ventured on for a couple hours this afternoon. We pretty much got blown off the lake with winds gusting to 20 knots and 1.5 to 2 foot waves
Marked a LOT of perch in 38 to 42 feet. South by the water treatment plant. There were a couple hardy souls anchored up and catching a few. We burned thru the trolling motor battery in 90 minutes trying to stay on top of fish. Caught 15 or 20, half decent size, the rest 5 or 6 inchers.
As soon as the wind quits blowing the perch fishing is going to be great.
