Last Saturday I was fishing with “One More Time” Mike on his boat trying for perch. We were between the pavilion and the donut in about 35 ft of water. We took a limit each and maybe caught 60 to get the limits. Baby roaches, fatheads, and crappie minnows were used. This was my first perch trip ever and I had a good time. Mike even cleaned and bagged them for me. That’s a fishing buddy!
Any way last night I fried a batch up along with some hand made fries and cantaloupe for a nice supper. I see why those fish are popular. They are great.

I saved 18 fillets and divided those into 2 batch’s for later. But no there was no leftovers. As good maybe better than sauger or walleye to me.
