So we thought we'd give it a try before the rain came. Started half way between the donut & the pavilion. First drift we started in 18" drifting out. Got 1 double at 23". Next drift we were more east. Got 1 double & 1 single. That was it for the day. We had a number of drifts where we went right over/through nice balls of fish. The 5 we caught we didn't mark anything. Kept doing drifts moving east till about 9:30. Then we moved just west of the donut. Saw lots of fish on the graph but nothing bit. Called it about 45 min before the rain came.

I'm trying to learn the land marks. What is the "donut" and where is the Pavillion? There is a condo looking building to the NE of the Washington Park beach. What do they refer to that as? Thank you!

The doughnut is the big round looking thing just east of the Port of Indiana. Close to shore 20' of water.

The pavilion is the state beach west of Michigan City and just east of the port. You can see the pavilion from the water. . The condo's just east of Michigan City are called the "Condo's."

I’m trying to “learn” what he’s catching. Thanks for the report but could you be a bit more specific of what you’re catching?
