Hey guys I used to fish for perch when I was younger off the harbor walls...not to much experience from boats for them. I was thinking about giving it a shot this weekend, my question is...do they bite throughout the day or is it sunrise and sunset type of fishing?

They bite anytime, that is what is great about perch......however, they turn on and off throughout the day quite often.

Tim,
Try by the cook plant in close 12-16ft. A slow drift works really good if they are finicky while anchored. B)
