 Getting ready for the fall/winter perching down the Cal River. Decided to go check out the ramp at Cal Park remembering last year the large craters and repair job a little to be desired. Arrived and inspected both ramps. Main ramp to my surprise had all of the craters covered up with steel plates as they were last year. I did notice the bolts anchoring the plates to the concrete ramp where bolts screwed in. Just the hex heads are exposed. Kind of remember last years repair had  concrete sleeve anchors installed. Tire puncture threat. Secondary ramps no issues with craters all look good. Just narrow makes it interesting when wavy. Let's keep are fingers crossed for a decent fall/winter perch season. Be safe.
Yes, the Lake was angry today. Heavy NE winds.
