Good numbers of fish from shore in the slip today, unfortunately it was mostly dinks when I wass there. I probably sorted through about 30 fish from 3 to 8 inches to find 6 that were 9 or bigger. I was there in the afternoon, about 2pm -dark. I went about 15 straight casts with a fish on my blade bait as it was getting dark. There was a boat or two in the slip, and ac ouple sitting out in front of it, I was too bisy to see how they were doing. Good luck to the guys fishing tomorrow, I'm not going to be able to make it out.

Thanks for the info SS. Hopefully the bite over east picks up so we don't have to resort to going over there and play with those fish. Trying to get a keeper fish in there can get pretty aggravating.

Snuck out this afternoon, total ghost town at 87th. I was there from about 3-4:30 and saw 1 perch caught between 6 guys. Mik lurch was closed too so I struck out on bait. They're open 8-12 on Tuesday.

Thanks SS for the update. The dead end slip is always a good place to go when all my other options fail. Should be a perfect day out on the water!
