Actually the weather report for next week looks pretty good! I'm near Midway Airport right now and it's snowing pretty good..... And then next week in the low 50's .....

I fished 87th this morning. After coming up with 10 keepers, I called it a day. Seems like I forgot my gloves and that just wasn't a very good move. Note to self - remember gloves. Please note that Vets Shop is closed at this time, so don't count on them for minnows. The flea market is a gamble, so I'd recommend going to Stanley's. Good Luck!

I'm just hoping the ramps aren't to icy though I'll have a shovel and some salt. I didnt even waste my time clearing my driveway I'll let mother nature get rid of it. Is the flea market in Hammond still open Killshot?

They are still open, they said Christmas earlier this week.

I'm going to be fishing the next three days for sure, just haven't decided where or how. I'm going to try and take a ride this afternoon and check out the ramps at EC and Portage. Shore fishing the slips or MC or even St Joe for whitefish/steelhead is kind of tempting though. Im going to be solo so the boat seems like a lot of hassel for what for me hasn't been great fishing out at Gary.

Weather over the few days is looking to be pretty decent. Anyone heading out? If so where?

I might get out thursday. Friday heading back to Erie. Night fishing Friday night and Saturday afternoon and coming home. Probably the last trip for the season out there,
