Fished mostly east of the ditch and went 3 for 5 early, nothing after 8am or so. 2 nice Coho's and a small King. Lost a screamer on an 8 color - guessing king. We decided to run way offshore to 230 FOW for the heck of it late morning as the lake flattened out pretty nice. Picked up a 12'ish lb laker and ran in.

It was a beautiful day until the wind died completely around 12 or 1..........then it got hot.

Nice job Dirtyx. Was it you that was on the radio talking to someone about the two steelhead floaters they saw in the ditch yesterday (I think it was yesterday when they saw them)? We pulled lines at 10 - it was too rough for us to try going deeper and it was a choppy ride back in. Glad to see a few people got some in the boat today - it was a tough morning.

Started out fishing with the pack West of the ditch. Caught a coho in the first 10 minutes and nothing after that. Decided to pull lines & head towards the donut. Caught 2 more coho & a 8 lb brown just when we ready to pull lines. Best part of the day was when we got our first hookup in the morning going down the ditch. I left 3 dodger/fly combos laying on the bench seat. Guess who decided to sit on them? Steelie Don stood up & had three peanut flys attached to his back side. Bob was kind enough to remove them for him. It was one of many good laughs we had on the boat.

Not that it really matters Steve, but it was only 2 dodger/fly combos that were stuck to my pants. I was really hoping that chapter in the fisherman log was getting erased.
