Engines are dialed in after the shake down trip last night and the run to the gong today. Chatter on the radio over at the wreck had everything pretty slow but we managed 5 for 6 by the time we packed in at noon between the gong and the wreck. It was not 1-2's over there this morning. 3 Lakers, 1 Steelhead and a King. 53 degree water about 65' to 60' depending on where we were at and fished water between 68' and 85'. King and Steelhead came on Carmel Dolphin down 65', Lakers actually suspended above that which worked out fine because they were easy to release. Monkey Puke, Pickleseed took other fish. Not sure about tomorrow morning but at least the weather has kept the Portage ramp relatively uneventful at least for the 4th of July!
