We put in at about 430 , ran out to the tri state and set lines, trolled north west from there about 3/4's of the way to the wreck, like B/N said the A team weather forecasters must of had the weekend off. Got a little sketchy for my little 16 ft'er out there, ran back in close and trolled around from the number 2 to straight north of the mouth, managed to pick up one decent steel head. Came on a rigger set 40' down in 50 fow. Speed and temp had all the water in close at 67 degrees all the way down to the bottom, was happy to At least pick up the one fish , we missed one other fish out deep on a rigger , from the radio chatter it sounded like it was a tough day for Everyone .would have been nice to have a flat lake like we thought it would be but all in all it was a good day on the water, now it's time to celebrate Americas birthday with some cold coors light, have a good holiday everyone!!
