TOPIC:

Fished from about 5:00-8:00PM. North out of the Ditch to 90' and then pointed towards the wreck. 50 degree water 55' down at the ball. Pretty slow so headed in shallower and managed 2 Kings and lost a Steelie in the 70' range. Kings came 55' down on magnum Stinger white/silver back with green dots (I can never remember the names of all these) and Monkey Puke 50' down. Steelie on Orange/Orange magnum Stinger 250' Copper. Ran 6 lines even though we had 5 on board but 3 were kids and it just didn't need the added confusion. Young lady from Florida caught her first King salmon and the look on face when I turned quickly and put the rod in her hands so she didn't have time to think about was priceless! Would have liked to stay out to try the sunset bite but the 10MPH rule makes for a long trip back.

Thanks for the report and nice job on the fish. Yes the 10 MPH rule makes it rough; although I was out last years 4th of July watching the fireworks and I think I was the only one following the rules on the way back in!!
