set rods around 5:00pm, trolled circles in front of the mouth like yesterday in 45 to 50 fow. hooked are first fish around 5:30 in 48 fow on a rigger rod set at 42' down, orange and chartreuse spoon. fish came right to the boat, we thought it was just a little steelhead, got a look at it and saw it was not a dink, and not a steelhead, fish saw the boat and took off, ran side to side on us and tried getting all wrapped up in a dipsey line, but with some quick maneuvering of the hooked up rod around the dipsey rod my brother in law got it untangled, big time bonus points!! haha got it to the boat after a good fight and it was a nice king! Got the spread set back up and within 15 minutes the dipsey rod #1 setting fired off right in the same spot where we hooked the first fish, mixed veggie set 90' out. Had the fish on for at least 2 minutes or so and it came unbuttoned. thinking it had to be another king cause it dove deep and made a some nice runs. When we got the spoon back in the boat the thing was tacoed in half. Never seen a spoon get mangled like that! trolled till a little after 9:00 with no more fish action, watched a real nice storm roll in from the northwest over the city to end the night. Super happy to come home with 13.8 king but i sure would of liked to see what bent that spoon the way it did.

looks like this rain will mess up the fishing in close im assuming , what do you guys think??

It was dark and we wanted to get back in before the storm, as my son drove his jeep with no top on it. Cool when its nice out but not with that storm coming in. We were the boat to the north of you at the ramps. As we pulled out I said you fellas have a good night. I read your post this morning about your mixed veggie spoons and then I new it was you folks.
