Worked from the wreck on east, 65-85 FOW. Went 2 for 5 with a 12lb king. One that we missed was a real ripper on a dipsy - dont think I have ever heard my drag peel off a dipsy like there was a semi attached. Unfortunately he was gone before we got the rod :( . Carmel dolphin and a few moonshines took the hits. Back at it in a few hours ;)

Worked 65-85' east of the port toward M.C. Tuesday a.m. Ended up 2-4. One nice steelhead at 11 and a small king. Steelhead hit a white glow Spin Doctor with white fly on wire dipsey down 100'. Small king on blue flounder down 55 on a rigger. Lost a nice king that slammed the other wire dipsey down 125' on a white glow meat rig that did not stick. Slow morning- not much bait or fish marks. The majority of fish marking were in the 20-25' down range- could not get them to go. Looking to head out either Thursday or Friday p.m. in close for afternoon bite with the south winds predicted. Fish On-Nick.

Nice job jeff. At least one good fish to play tug of war with. On shore winds anywhere on the lake, if strong enough or long enough, will produce an upwelling of cold water near shore where cold water species like to hand out ;)

Don't worry about those 20 to 30 foot offshore marks this time of year. They aren't salmon. Maybe zombie-salmon, probably gizzard shad. Millions of trolling hours have been wasted trying to catch them. Zero results.

Back at it today due north of the ditch in 70-90 FOW. We went 8 for 8 - 2 Kings, 3 Steel, and 3 Lakers. No noteworthy fish in terms of size, all in the 5-8lb range. It was hot action early and then it crapped out just as fast for us. Spoons were the only thing taking fish for us today. various moonshines, green dolphin, carmel dolphin and monkey puke all took fish.
