Started the morning out up close to see if the kings were still there like earlier in the week but after a couple of days of north wind nobody was getting any bites up there. Packed up the shallow rods and headed offshore. Stay in the area of 48n 13-14w got 5-6 bites on a yagerbomb slider with the main set 55 down took a steelhead on 8 color kervokian spoon and took a nice coho on a dipsy 160back with spin doctor and fly. Took our fish to the scale and it was enough for the win. I would like to thank everyone that came out and Jeff (dirty) for being the final decision maker. And a special thanks to Ed(lickety split) for the food

Way to go Mark, we got the big O. Trolled infront, went east then trolled north to state line then back west. That was the most water I think I covered without a hit. Should of went for carp. Mike

Bummer. I was afraid of this with the north winds, thus my question from last week. But, tomorrow is another day and I'm going to give it a try anyway. Maybe I'll find some stragglers still hanging around close. Still better than mowing the lawn...

We started the day in 45 FOW a mile west of MC, with no action we moved out to 65 FOW and saw some sporadic action. Drifted out as far as 80 FOW but it was a wasteland. Came back to 65 and picked up another fish or two.
Boatless!
