Fished from 6:30 to noon. Hit a nice coho as the 3rd rod hit the tree off the south pier on an orange hot n tot, flat line. 3 minutes in and one in the box. I thought we'd do okay early... That was it. Marked fish but no takers. Worked the river water for a couple hours then moved out. Went WNW and found a nice scum line in 75-85'. Bait all over the surface. Covered top to bottom with only one 15" laker to show for it. Nice weather but tough fishing.

That was always the kiss of death for us...getting a fish on before all the rods are set!!

Im loving the amount of sj posts recently.

I always think a fish before all the rods are set is a good omen. Did anyone have bananas in their snack-pack?

No bananas in the boat, I know better for sure! I can't say I remember having a rod go while setting at the start, but I have one trip for the bad omen column now.
