set up at the mouth of the ditch and we picked up a nice little Brown on board just as setting pole in rod holder. Circled around the ditch area a few times with not even a bump. pulled lines and headed for the reef area. we picked up 4 lakers out in 40 FOW decided to try the mouth of the harbor for cohos and picked up 2. Another beautiful day on the lake practicing for this spring.

Thanks for the report. I was out at the Port on 2-21 in the afternoon. Just caught a few lakers. No action on the flat lines.

Thought I had the indiana record trout in the mouth of the port jigging blades. Had fish on for 15 min before i saw color in the water and away it went again. Finally got it up, about a 12 pounder hooked about 4 inches from the tail on the underside.Oh well it was fun

Last week I caught about a 8 lb laker on downrigger free slider, when it slid down the line the spoon on the bottom snagged him in the tail so I had to bring it in backward. I know what you mean about hooking into what you think is a record. LOL
