Coho are still fast action at Gary. We trolled the usual body baits and had our 3 man limit by 915.

We decided not to net any fish to keep water splashing to a minimum on the floor. What little water and slime made it to the floor pretty much froze instantly. Surprisingly, our landing percentage was better than lady week when we did use a net. What does that say about the net man (Bill)??

Water was pretty calm with an East wind leaving portage but it switched to North by Gary. At Gary the open water is rolling pretty good and sloppy. Same conditions on the way back but the wind did switch to the North at Portage as we were pulling the boat out.

Sloppy 2-3 outside of Gary. Some decent rollers.

Great catch guys!
We ended up with our three man limit today on this frigid morning, but the pilot house stayed a toasty 75 for the trip.
We set up east of Lake St and couldn't get more then three rods in the water without a fish. The action slowed down a little later, but we picked away at them.

Nice job Mike. I had a birthday party this afternoon we finished up our limit rite at the time we had to pick up and head in. Most of our fish came in the rougher water.
