We waited to get out this morning. Heard the thunder and lightening late in the night and glad it cleared this morning.
Made it out of Portage around 7:30 and headed west. Stopped down by Lake street and set lines trolling west. Got six lines in for Jim and I and then didn't find much time for sitting down. Constant action with a few doubles and triples thrown in. Released the shorter fish and took home a nice 2 man limit. No downriggers today. Just 6 flats of of the mast system and big boards. Met SouthShore(John) at the ramp he was going in and we were coming out. Nice to meet you today John.

I shot straight over there and dropped lines at the east end of the wall and had 7 fish by the time I got to the gap, about a half hour. I pulled in the trolling gear and ran back an to Portage and killed a couple hours casting. Caught and realesed a few more ho's and and dandy brown. Really nice looking fish, bad day to forget the phone at the house. Took a while to get going, but this spring is giving up some good fishing.

Glad you had some action today , it makes fishing exciting when two of three fish are on at the same time.
