FINALLY got the Blu Moon out with the parents since they only were calling for 1-2 footers...the ride to Gary Light wasn't pleasant at all (3-4's). Once we got tucked in we just had to fight the wind. Went 2-5 in the short time we spent there. Mostly had the inlet to ourselves. The usual lures for this time of year. Riggers 15' and higher along with surface lines.

Was hoping to get out this morning (3/25) but called off the trip after the north wind turned on us on the ride back in last night.

I'm new to the big lake , but my dad and I picked up two in about a half hour outside the shipping canal!!

It was a great day, we used to fish out of new buffalo 15 years ago!! My dad who is 80 pulled them both in. He was like a little kid again. It brought back a lot of great memories and more to come. I will be out again on Sunday
