Went North of Portage at 6 am to 140 feet of water and returned at 2 pm.. 7 Cohos and lost 5 fish fish came on green and silver flies behind red dodger, 1 fish on a spoon. Depth from top to 50 feet. Several radio reports 0 for 0 at Gong, a couple other boats caught Cohos from 90 to 150 feet. One charter caught Lakers and several Cohos. No flies and great day.

Good job on the fish! This time of year two things I have experienced help keep them hooked up. One is kick the speed up a bit. The other is loosen the drag and let them have some line at the strike. Don't know what speed you were trolling but 3.0 isn't too fast.
