It's deathly quiet up there...anyone getting out this week? Tomorrow looks like a blow day, then setting up for what looks like a decent weekend.

I assume someones got to have gotten out eh? lol. I will hopefully get out on saturday.........I hope!

I'll be out sunday. Taking one of my bosses out also...hopefully people post because I have to find the fish that day...cant look like a noob!

I plan on fishing Friday and then in the coho classic. The lake has been pretty iffy this week and not too many guys fishing. That being said Friday am looks a bit bumpy as well. I have heard of good catches including Kings this week in E. Chicago and the reef north of new buffalo. Funny there is nothing reported in MC. I have 80 gallons of fuel in the boat and will likely burn a significant amount scouting this Friday God willing with the wave heights.

I plan to get out Saturday from MC. Been looking for reports and all the different boards have been blank. Remember folks, a bad report can be more useful than a good one at times. Every little bit of info helps. There is plenty of fish in the lake!!

A buddy of mine got out of MC this past Tuesday and worked the pier heads to 3 miles East. It was very slow and he ended up with 6 fish and only 2 keepers. No screamers and he did see some bait. While its nice to have a report, I'm not necessarily going to rule out that water tomorrow or this weekend. I don't know how it is in Portage and E. Chicago, but in MC things change fast particularly with different weather patterns. The fish can be there today, gone tomorrow and vice versa. My plan is to go hit it tomorrow and find my own fish or at least rule some things out. Hopefully the lake cooperates and we get a little luck on our side for the tournament!! I stopped by Washington Park this AM to see if anyone is fishing and its not fit for man or beast out there. This blow will likely cancel out any intelligence gained this week and it will be time to search and rescue once it stops.

Saturday will be the first trip out. Going to portage for the shakedown trip.
