Thinking about heading that way one of these weekends looking to get into some jigging action. Was wondering if anyone been up there and stayed the night if so would you recommend it?? Somewhere where you don't have to worry about boat getting broken into Also hoping to find lodging with a pool for my little guy, but if no pool it's ok too!!

no experience with Milwaukee, but I believe now would be a darn good time with all these west winds. Cold water on the west shore.
Boatless!

I'd recommend going a little farther north to Port Washington. Great little town that really caters to fisherman, nice marina, hotels right near the water, and few really good "watering holes" too. Not as crazy as Milwaukee and the fishing can be great. Can be in 100' of water within a few miles from shore.
