Had to launch the boat after work today after looking at the forecast this morning. set lines around 6 pm 3 or 4 miles north of portage. Marked a decent amount of fish and a few nice bait balls but weren't able to get much going. We ended up 0 for 2. One was a big cow coho that put on a nice air show for us before coming unbuttoned at the back of the boat.Came on a rigger set down 23'. The other fish was on same rigger but it hit the slider, Never saw that one. Sounded like it was pretty tough for everyone today but it sure was a nice looking Lake Michigan. I'll take a nice night on the lake any day over sitting around at the house.
