I've got a couple of Convector 55's that I have 300's on. I had a 225 that I have to look at and see what size the reel is, lost that set up after a big fish burried the board in rough water. I still havent replaced the line. I have 2 150's that are on 45's and do fine. I think there has to be a better way to catch those fish than having to run all that line torpedo's divers or some other type of snap on weight.

We use the convector 45 for 200ft and under. The 55 for anything over 200. Bloodrun 32lb copper is the copper of choice for us, great stuff and easy to work with.

Good stuff guys thank you! What type of knots are ties to the main line and leads? I have used 50lb Spyro swivles that fit through the guys instead of tying line to line and it has worked well.

If I were setting up new rigs for copper I would get a hold of Darrin at clear h20 tackle in Edwardsburg, MI. He is a bloodrun dealer and spools alot of copper. Tell him what you want and he'll spool it for you.
