I managed to get out yesterday afternoon. Lines in about 3:30 fished until 7:15 PM.Headed NNE to Illinois side of 3 corners. Stopped in the 130's and pinged the area and not a bait ball to be seen. Headed out to 170 did the same and dead sea. Pushed out to 240 plus and there they were. Lots of fish hanging around in 255 suspended between 80 and 40 ft of water. Ended up 4 for 5 with a 9 pound Steelhead and 10 pound Laker. Caught a really small Coho and a small Laker. We missed a large fish after playing with him for a couple of minutes my guess is was a big lake trout because it fought deep and was a head shaker. Only one fish on the mainlines down about 90ft everything else hit above 50 ft. Took all the fish on clean spoons. 3 out of 4 were on the sliders.

That would be Espot he posts here, and joined me for the tournament last week. He paid the iron price for that Steelhead, spent a lot of hours with me last year failing on the lake.

I would say you are doing very well for yourself. This is the toughest time to fish our lake. Congrats and keep them coming into the boat.
