Decided to head further north than I've been fishing the past couple days and set-up in front of the Warren Dunes in 70 FOW. First hit was a nice Coho in 90 FOW on 225 copper with stinger green alewife spoon. Second hit was on spin dr with green 3" fly on braid diver, 2 setting 100 ft back. It was a solid hit and peeled some line out before cutting the line right at the fly. That was it for the morning. I worked back and forth between 85-100 FOW. Sonar didn't see a lot of fish and only one bait ball the whole morning. Debated on heading deeper, saw a couple boats out deep but decided to keep working the area where I got the two hits. Oh well, at least it wasn't a skunk. BEAUTIFUL morning on the water.

Thanks for the report. The Cook buoy has a lot of cold water up higher than it has been in a couple weeks. I wonder if they might have moved in shallower.
We found a lot of fish and some decent bait up that way Sunday but it didn't result in a lot of hits.

The Buoy continues to show cold water moving in. There is a clear temp break between 30 FOW and 40 FOW. The water is 45 degrees at 49 FOW. It will be interesting to see if the fish start moving shallower now. I'm going out tonight to give it another try. Looks like there will be a heavy blow the next 36-48 hours so probably won't go out again until Friday night or Saturday morning.
