music fish fun and food great weather
After the last couple outings plagued by sort hits drive bys long rips and gone. pulled out the john king 12" flashers with the big strong hooks cut my own herring (shortened up the herring pieces/strips a bit)= old trick to ward off short hits

kings on the south end are a only a few and far between hits so you have to make the most out of every chance

one thing is for sure THEY ARE HERE NOW AND NOTHING MUCH MORE FUN THAN HAVING ONE BURN OFF 1000' OF LINE IN ONE RUN
and between waiting for hits might as well fire up the grill and have some brats !!

guys! PLEASE give boats a lot of extra room these fish will always run off at lest 300' of line give a guy a change to land one of these KINGZILLA fish

mid day and out of the normal temp ranges this stuff really brings bring some thing extra to the party
the water around the ship channel is so muddy and warm / hot for fish I think its a necessity to get bites
shot hits a half lenth of meat and some extra tuning to keep it spinning heavy leader good heay duty hooks are all a must to get them in the boat
one good fish and the bait heads have to be retied their teeth do a number on the leader line on the bait heads
