Has anyone launched or seen the ice conditions around MC area? I really want to launch out of Portage tomorrow morning and beat out the storms but after seeing Bill's photos I'm concerned of the high winds breaking the shore ice free and blocking the ditch inlet so was looking for an emergency back up plan to get back to shore. Posting this here so I can update tomorrow with a full report if I can get out.

I was out there last night for the Coho Club meeting. Ice looked bad ramps were loaded full of sand, and trail was still frozen over out in front of the yacht club.

HMM.. Maybe I'll wait till next week and play it safe..... MAYBEEEEEEE I'll report back tomorrow if I decide to be young and dumb or hopefully I get off tonight work and it's already blown out by the time I check
