started 55 fow west of piers..caught a laker pretty quick off the bottom with the usual dodger and spin n glow. Nothing going most of the day took 1 more laker on 150 copper mag pro king crackle ice. Lost 1 on rigger same area 12 down and had a few more releases with nothing to show. Ended up gettint rough so headed in...had something funking going on close to thr pier where the engine would raise rpms and lower on its own...dont know what that was all about..seems to do it at a lower degree in idle. Thinking spark plugs but open to suggestions.

I was going to write one up, but didn't do too hot....

5/16 St. joe...

1 for 2
12# king
2.4 mph gps
down rigger 45feet down with 3 color secret weapon
54.6 degree water at surface
orange/coper spoon with black spots (dont know name)

Marked all kinds of bait and fish in 78- 90 fow, nothing anywhere else.

We probably would have caught more fish if we had just turned in 80 FOW when we started marking, but decided to stick with our original plan and headed out to 120 fow and then came back in.

started northwest of the pier in 55 went to 123. Landed 1 laker and missed probably a Coho on the rigger down 12 and had 2 more releases with no one home all in 114 fow. Marked very few yesterday and some clumps of perch or bait on the bottom out in 100 fow. Water for us was 45 degrees most of the day. Which direction did you go?
