Got out last week before the winds shifted. Ran out to Gary light to see if dirty water cleaned up from all the flooding and it was a lot better than the week before. Took the inlaws out since they have never trolled for Salmon before and we laid into them pretty good. Got our 3 man (14 Coho and 1 Brown) limit by 10am and even threw back some to upgrade. Typical lures in the typical spots in that area. Gold did the best for us with lures put anywhere from 5ft-13ft speed anywhere from 2-2.5. One of them even got pooped on by a bird which made for some good laughs. Needless to say I probably created two new divorces because they are now addicted and I see lots of fishing equipment being purchased in the near future.

Nice meeting you and the crew at the launch Wed. morning.
Glad you guys got into the fish.
We stayed inside by the discharge, testing out the new Tmotor and spot lock system.
Released the small ones with a kiss, pat on the ass and said "see ya in Waukegan in 2 months".
Kept five and never broke out the long sticks.
Just kicked back, let the Tmotor do it's thing and casting away with jigs/squid and zip blades.

Good to meet you as well and I’m glad to hear the new Terrova spot lock sounds like it is working a lot better. I may need to get a new one but it sounds like this week a buddy’s bd my self but I might possibly be going halves on a slip boat with my main fishing partner soany upgrades to the small boat may have to be put on the back burner. I saw y’all in their casting was wondering how you guys did glad you caught some
