Me, Bob (Kelly Ann ) , and Rick ( Sea Ya) took my boat and fished the green can east of the port and lit em up on dipsey's with dodgers and flies. We ended up 9 for 24 With a lot of fish hanging on right up to boat and then letting go. We had one triple and actually boated 2 out of the 3. All but one fish came on dodgers and various flies, the loner was on a monkey puke slider. We tried to figure out why so many came unbuttoned but gave up and was just grateful for a/ll the action we had today.

Man of man thats a lot of action! Now send some of them up north a little. I remember a day a few years ago my dad and I were out in 70 fow with 9 fish in the box shaking coho after coho off at the side of the boat with no one around. Had 35 fish on that day. Nice job!

When I come up in a few weeks I will bring you some sharp hooks. HA HA. Sometimes I wonder if a treble is the way to go. Maybe longer shanked j hook or an octopus hook would hold those flying fish long enough to lead them into a net? Using flies that slide on the string and a j hook of some sort could be the ticket.
