Headed out in the sleet and cold on Monday. My crew was a Minnesota family on spring break. I'm surprised they didn't show up in shorts and flip-flops. They were warmly dressed and in their mind any lake with soft water on top is "spring-time." Fished along the "Wall" and had a slow, but steady pick all morning. No fire drills, not even any doubles, but probably never more than 10 minutes between bite. The usual suspects did most of the work, but in light of the posts on D/F bites over the weekend, I put one out on a Dipsey, 22 out and it caught three. One on a spoon and one on a proto-type Mepps Aglia - Instead of the usual squirrel tail, the hook is now dressed with mylar (as in a peanut fly).

Nice Mike. Fire drills are slightly over rated anyhow lol. Except when it’s misarable conditions then they keep you warm and moving. Thanks for the report.
