Cold one out there today! This photo was taken mid-morning (when my fingers thawed out enough to work the camera.) There was still ice on the tether cord when we quit just after noon. Water quite dirty after yesterday's blow and it cooled down a few degrees. Only around 37 at one point. We stayed at EC and picked our way to a nice catch which included one steelhead, the rest cohos. Nada on the dodger/fly today. Red RTs did most of the work. One on J-9, one on Mepps Aglia and one on a Williams Wobbler spoon.

What harbor are u launching at if u don't mind me asking? I'm going out soon for my first crack at it and was trying to figure out best place to launch At?

I would go out of EC (fish near EC) or portage (fish at gary light or port of Indiana or near mouth of burns ditch) - just depends on winds.

So far I've only launched at East Chicago. Saturday I plan to go out of Hammond due to the current ENE wind predictions.
