Thinking about coming up from Indy in the morning to troll out of portage but it looks like it’s blowing good right now. Anyone local think it will be ok to come up tomorrow.

We only did this a couple times last year and are still trying to figure the lake out. It’s a steep learning curve.

Weather and wave forecast look good to be on the lake tomorrow morning. But that also depends on the sea worthyness of your vessel. I could be much more help if you shared what you are working with.

Forecast says 1 to 3’s, if ya have a decent size boat you would probably be alright but I’m sure it won’t be any kind of comfortable conditions. Early morning will be better than the afternoon.

18 ft tracker deep v with a 90 merc. Handles up to a 5 without much issue. The blow today just had me worried as we came one day last year after a blow out of the north and the waves were coming over the breaker wall.

Figured it would be best to ask the locals. I appreciate the responses

I am hoping so also as I am dragging my Searunner up in the morning. Kelliann and One More Time are rounding out the crew. Fishing Monday also. I will be on ch 68. Leaving very early from the Evansville area, later in the morning we'll get started.
My Searunner 190, "Four "D's" and a "C". Retirement money well spent.

It was just me and dad yesterday. Hoping to come back up in two weeks and try it again. Maybe I can get my dipsey divers to run right.
