Fished yesterday a.m. from 6:30 till 10:30 in and around Gary light from shallow to 48'. Slow morning for us- ran 9 rod spread and ended up 2 for 5, 1 coho and a 6 lb steelhead. Coho hit brads thin fish black and red squiggle 25' back no weight off of big boards, steelhead hit blue/silver #3 j-plug 36' off a slide diver. Lost 1 king at the back of the boat and had 2 screamers said bye-bye rather quickly-ouch! All big fish hits came off riggers 17-28' down, 50-75' back. The previous storm looks like it pushed the coho out for now. Hope to be out next week after re-grouping with a King 6 rod spring set-up seeing there are some big boys in close. Hopefully the weather and work will cooperate to make it happen. Fish-on! Nick.
