TOPIC:

Trailered the boat over to st. Joe last night after work for a quick trip and a shot at this crazy king fishing that’s been going on. Shot straight west out of the mouth 5 miles to 80 Fow and set up a 6 rod spread and trolled out to 100 fow. We only got a hour and half or so of fishing before we got chased off by storms. Ended up with one 10# king, a little ho and a little lake trout. King came on a rigger down 50’ in 85 fow, also had a drive by on a dipsey rod right after we hooked the king. Didn’t really mark any good fish or bait the whole night. From talking with some other boats it sounded like the fish were out in a little deeper water yesterday (120’s to 130’s) but we saw some nice box’s at the ramp. Their still in the area as of last night!! Gonna try again a little later in the week if the weather looks good. Go get um boys!!
