Was out from St Joe today with Irish Prince and my cousin from about 6:30 EDT until we pulled lines at 1 PM. We went 5 for 9 and the 5 were nice. The forecast for 1 - 2 footers was a bit off so we were battling I would say solid 3s to maybe 4s most of the day. Bites turned on in the 100 FOW and basically shut down for us after about 120, 130 FOW. all fish came on spoons but one was on a meat rig. orange was the best color on the spoons. due to the waves and size of the fish I could not get a solid weight reading but 2 were between 18 and mid 19 lbs so I am saying almost 19 lbs and two were in the 15/16 lbs range and one was just under 11 lbs. I got the "pleasure" of fighting one of the big fish on a 10 color and was fighting him for a good 20 minutes. had a decent run but then it just shut off and that was that. Finally called it a day and Limped back to the dock with a sick motor that would not break 10 MPH - UGH!!

Thanks for the report ed. Nice work on the fish, I hope your not out of the game for to long. Good thing fishing st joe as it isnt as long as a slow ride back in from the fishing grounds lol still sucks either way.

Yes we started in 85 and headed towards deeper. Once we hit 100 the lines started to get some action.

So it appears the boat is back running. I ended up changing plugs (they were not that old but still) and I changed the Fuel filter which I am not sure if it was ever changed during the other maintenance they did on it and since evidently Cabelas purged all records when Bass Pro bought them, I have no way of telling if it was or not. Also through all this I found out my auto bilge switch went bad so I will be replacing that next week i'm sure. Thanks all
