tough fishing day. Started out decent with a Laker, then a 7 lbs king and a small coho. Tried to find fish deeper but ended up leaving the area of the fish.
Seems most fish were under the 100 FOW from the reports I heard and from our first hand experience. Put out a large planar board prototype that my cousin built. It performed great but never got a hit on it to give it the full test. Will be adding two large planar boards to the arsenal once the cousin finishes cutting the boards. Think these will work awesome and can't wait to see one pop and actually get to fight the fish and not a planar board also.
Ended the day with a major tangle with our copper line but we saved the line (it only took an hour). After that it was time to call it a day. Day got too hot and the holiday traffic was starting to build.

All fish fish were caught on spoons - Laker came on a 10 color, the king was on a downrigger down 55 ft in 90 FOW on a black fin tuna and the coho I don't remember what color spoon but it was on a wire dipsy 3 setting out 120.

Thanks ed. Glad you caught some fish. There was a 38 boat tournament this morning that probably added to the mayhem

Actually only saw maybe 10 boats when we were in the under 100 FOW then only saw a couple here and there until we started heading in - then it was all the Holiday boats - ugh.

Great report and pics. Thanks
Do you use custom made mounts for your rod holders or are they bought?
Thanks
