Had a really good day on the water today. We started finding our fish in 115 ft of water. Trolled north to 145 ft of water. Just about everything took fish. Most productive was still orange dogers with peanut flies. Braid dipseys we hot 50-75 ft out on a 3 setting. Phenomenal day until after we pulled lines and started heading in.

Motor died and world not start. Tow boat us came and got us. Thank goodness for tow boat insurance. If you don’t have it get it! What would of been a $2,000 tow bill cause me nothing. Found the issue and good now but it was eerie being that far out dead in the water.

Kind of embarrassing actually. Apparently the kill switch had gotten jostled enough to kill the motor. It didn’t look off but I pulled the clip and pushed the button a few times. Put the clip back on and the dang thing started right up. Guess I’ll be keeping a eye on that from now on.

I'm glad we were able to help you out on the water today.
I will be going out for the first time this year on Sunday, and I think I will be fishing in the area that you recommended.

I remember years ago I was at pine lake and my boat would start. I worked on it for two hours with friends and family waiting on me.....only to find out the kill switch was tweaked and looked good.......ugh
