Well we had a couple friends in from out of town today so we headed out. Yea it was a little rainy but we made a couple laps around the mouth of the ditch and got NO hits. Did see 1 caught off the wall. So we just pointed the boat north and went. We had 2 releases with nobody home in about 55 FOW. Then another that seemed different. Had a very lazy 4# brown on the end of a mag Miami dolphin set at 55' over 60 FOW. A few minutes later a 2nd rigger went off with a hot 3# coho. This was a mag pro king orange w/black ladderback set at 35'. Then the rain got a little heavier and of course a different rigger went with another coho on a D/F 35' down. We started to pull due to the rain and the same D/F went again. Another coho. Now we never made it to the state line. We were 43 & 10 when we turned for home so 65' max depth today. We did mark bait on the bottom but small concentrated balls. Also a few suspended balls that were not quite as tight.
