TOPIC:

Went out after work to fish the evening bite. Rods in around 5 30 or so. Made a few passes in close by the number 4, had one drive by on a rigger and than decided to run out a little deeper. Fished 4 to 5 miles north of the mouth in 60 to 70 fow. Ended up 3 for 10 or so with riggers and dipseys doing all the work. Ran all are baits down in 40 to 50 fow. Had a hard time keeping them pinned up but we Put two nice hoes and a 14# king in the Box. Was nice to feel and here some drag screaming. Ton of bait out there right now!!! Good luck to everyone fishing the tournament this weekend.

Nice fish Will!!. Yes it seemed the theme of the day Saturday was trying to keep them buttoned up. I lost 6 right off the bat Saturday morning - first one being a screaming what i believe was a king. i thought he was going to spool me then bam gone. Had a pretty productive day after that but not as good as others. thanks for the report and yes it was nice to hear some screaming line again. BTW when I got the one Coho in she had 3 Alewives still hanging out of her mouth and a belly stuffed full so yes there must be a ton of bait fish out there right now.
