Hit the water at 5:00 this morning and while I was setting my second line had a big king on in 25’ Of water. There were over 25 other boats out there between Portage and Burns ditch around sunrise and I did see a few fish come in. Ended up one for three and marked a fair number of big fish in 30’-50’ Of water. Fish hit a Gator, Blue Dolphin, and a glow melon spoon. Everyone seemed to be trolling between 2-2.5.

I was fishing alone and with all of the traffic, I set my lines in 25' of water maybe 1/4 mile NW of the breakwater before I got anywhere near the other boats. The rigger was maybe 20' down and I was barely moving. Needless to say, I was very pleasantly surprised. Most of the boats were fishing in 40'-55' depths
