We decided to fish the river yesterday as my buddy wanted to try out the rod he had finished building and do some pinning. He liked the Rod but the bite seemed to be more spinner and plugs. Ended up with a few nice fish and a great day floating a river I hadn't fished in many years. This was the big fish landed for the day, lost a couple that were a little bigger. We stayed away from the crowds but combat fishing was in full swing up at the dam and that is no joke, heard the DNR/Sheriff arrested 15 people over the weekend with a couple guys going to the hospital from several fights over fishing.

The word is the Homestead Dam is the new Tippy. What's wrong with people??
